Week 8 of the 2017 NFL campaign concludes tonight with a Monday Night Football matchup between the Denver Broncos (3-3) and Kansas City Chiefs (5-2). These are currently the AFC West’s top teams, but they have both been struggling over the past two weeks. The Chiefs and Broncos have each suffered through back-to-back losses, making this primetime affair an absolutely critical one. Not only will the winner get their season back on track, but it they will also score a crucial win over the main challenger to the divisional crown.

Kansas City is the heavy favorite on Monday night according to oddsmakers, as the home team is currently laying a full touchdown. That shouldn’t come as a surprise considering Denver has yet to win on the road in 2017 and has played drastically worse away from Mile High Stadium dating back to last season. The team is just 2-5 in its last seven road games, and things have gotten so bad when traveling that the Broncos are getting seven points for the first time since Tim Tebow was lining up under center for the franchise. This is a dire issue that needs to be addressed quickly if the team is going to return to the playoffs after missing them last year for the first time since 2010.

Will Denver be able to solve its road woes in a must-win matchup with one of its biggest rivals, or will the Chiefs live up to expectations as a heavy favorite in Arrowhead? Jon Price of SportsInformationTraders.com, a pro Las Vegas handicapper, has a take on this contest that you will not want to miss. Before getting to his expert pick, here’s a quick look at the start time, TV information, latest odds and more for Week 8’s Monday Night Football game.

Tonight’s contest will mark the 115th meeting all-time—including the postseason—between these two storied franchises. The Chiefs currently hold a narrow lead with a 59-55 record in this AFC West rivalry. Denver had been by and large dominating the series since the turn of the decade, but the Chiefs recently turned their fortunes around and have won the past three showdowns. Here’s how every game between these clubs has played out since 2010 (home team in caps):

Outside of Kansas City’s incredible three-point overtime victory last year, there haven’t been too many close scorelines in this series. That OT game was the only matchup these teams have been involved in that was decided by less than a touchdown since the 2011 campaign. There is plenty of potential for another blowout tonight, especially if the Chiefs get back to playing the elite level football that allowed them to win their first five games this season.
